Build and conquer your way to freedom
Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles is an open-world 3D builder strategy game set in the haunting land of The Falconeer. It encourages players to build bustling towns, towering spires, and challenging fortresses that can become hubs for trading and places for exciting and complex battles.
Taking inspiration from the city builder genre, Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles demands you to explore and discover new territories with its top-down minimalist steampunk fantasy art style. It also encourages the player to strike partnerships within the many factions inside the vast map, and team up against enemies who dare to capture and destroy what you have started.
Survive the world of Falconeer
In Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles, your goal is to build fortified settlements to protect your community against hostile factions. You have access to airships, warbirds, dragon raiders, and naval steamboats. With them, carefully plan your attacks while building with better materials to strengthen your headquarters. As it gets larger, the population increases and you need to manage your resources and territory better.
Unique missions with ruthless commanders and captains force you to adapt to a different strategy. You can either follow the main quests or just play around without progressing the story. Upgrading defenses is a must as the difficulty increases but the gameplay is easy to understand. During raids, you can leave your settlements on autopilot and let your NPCs take care of defense, farming, and foraging for supplies.
This game has a top-down bird’s eye view and you can’t zoom in too much on your settlement. However, it’s great for scouting ahead in various locations to prepare for your next move. Please note that when flying your airship, things can get finicky with the camera angles as you scout your territories and hover around to discover new, unopened areas.
An endless journey awaits
Bulwark Evolution: Falconeer Chronicles offers endless replayability. It has a fantastic 3D steampunk art style and has many weapons, vehicles, and upgrades to keep you engaged. You can either play the main story or approach it your way — either way, you don’t have to micromanage thanks to its idle mode. While the camera angles can be tough to focus on a specific area you want, that still doesn’t detract from the overall gameplay.
